The Mountain Meadows Charitable Trust under its health and well being division "Living Choices" runs a emergency food bank.
The food bank operates in the Waimakariri and Hurunui Districts(starting soon) of Canterbury New Zealand. Check out our schedule for details of where we will be.
If you live in a area we visit we maybe able to deliver a food pack directly to you.
We deliver emergency food packs every Wednesday.
If you have a URGENT need for a emergency food pack, We can deliver at anytime between 8:00am and 5:00pm, but you need to be contactable. If we cannot contact you. We cannot deliver.

Special dietary foods are prepared separately to reduce the risk of contamination.
We also provide a range of other grocery/household items. (contact us for more information)
We bring the food to small and large towns (see our schedule for details).
There is no meat given in food parcels but there are meat alternatives given instead.
When you receive a food parcel we will also offer recipes that uses food within that parcel.
At each of the places we visit, you are welcome to come and sit-down with us and have a chat
