Job Details:
The position of offices/Accounts Administrator is responsible for assisting the CEO to meet the financial and office administration requirements of Mountain Meadows.
They need to be a flexible problem-solver who has superb communication skills, a detail-oriented mind-set, strong organizational and time management skills.
Key Capabilities required for this position:
• Solid accounts knowledge including AR, AP, Debtor Control, GST, Bank Recs
• Working knowledge of using accounting packages, MYOB.
• A good knowledge of goods receipt and invoice matching and inventory, stock control with regular stock takes.
• Able to produce accurate reports and ensuring audit compliance.
• Able to help manage all travel, accommodation & airport transfers for MMCT personal.
• Good at coordination of calendars and organisation of meetings
• Can maintain and file all business records in a systematic manner.
• Familiarity with using social media.
• Ability to help write social media updates and do other clerical duties as needed.
Skills:
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office – word, excel, access, outlook and powerpoint.
• Some MYOB knowledge an advantage.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated Responsible, and Accountable, Maintaining a Positive Attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of MMCT information.
• Good organisation, presentation, and time management skills.
• Social media skills.
• Ability to check documents for spelling and grammar issues.
Employment Understanding:
• You are hired as a part time office/accounts administrator on a twelve months’ contract.
• There is a 3 months’ trial period.
• Your contract may not be renewed at the end of twelve months’ due to budgetary reasons.
• Your contract will be reviewed and renegotiated or concluded at the end of the twelve months’ period.
• If you want to quit the job for any reason, you are expected to notify MMCT two weeks prior to your resignation.
Hours of work
• 2 hours a week
• Week day worked - to be negotiated
• Immediate start available
